Stand for Children has created an amazing mobile "Organizer App". It is optimized for the Microsoft Surface, the staff of Community Organizers uses it to manage their members and leaders (volunteers) who are organized in teams. These volunteers also process donations, send & receive communications, and manage events. Built on and for the Salesforce Platform, it is the primary tool for a large portion of their staff and for many, it is the only way they access Salesforce.
Stand for Children will present on how they leveraged is Angular JS, HTML5 and REST APIs to access the Salesforce.com platform. They will also discuss lessons learned and how decisions made early on allowed them the most flexibility as the project changed.
