Bandit is making their second annual trek from Vancouver, BC to Dreamforce, doing acts of cloud-computing kindness on their way! They are stopping again this year here in Portland to partner with local developers, and the Dev group is one of them! We need to finish out our team of volunteer developers that can assist a local not for profit in customizing their Salesforce org.
One of the groups that they are trying find help in assisting is Fish Emergency Service. FISH is an emergency food pantry that also provides clothing, personal care items, and public transit (Tri-Met) assistance to our community in need. Fish has found an app created for a food pantry. The app is open source for Salesforce and could be perfect for us with a slight modification.
How do we fit in? By some of us donating a small amount of hours (2-4?) in gathering the requirements, determining the solution, and implementing it. Bandit sets expectations that these projects MUST be completed on the morning they are in Portland (10/10) so this will not be a long, ongoing project. Their video team will be capturing the moment for their annual video while we are on site that Friday morning. If you are interested in participating, please RSVP and add your contact information so we can follow up. If you have any questions, please email Angela.
Thank you for giving back to the Portland / Salesforce community.
