About this event

PDX Devs - we are jumping right into November and what do we have to be thankful for? A DF16 recap, how to deal with tech fatigue AND lightning components!

In addition to a review of the Dev highlights from DF16, Steve Cook of Slalom will share some of his experience from a recent project involving Lightning Components, and Tanner Ellen of DayBack will speak to us about tech fatigue. Says Tanner, "In an industry that changes in the blink of an eye, where technology fads come and go faster than you can keep track, it’s very likely that you have experienced some form of tech fatigue. I'll discuss topics that will include what tech fatigue is, how to manage it, and how to keep your skill set relevant without burning out on the latest trends. Tech fatigue affects everyone in the technology sector, but is especially prevalent with software development."

We hope to see you at Slalom next week for this excellent dev meet up!
