About this event

Details:
Lightning and the new Lightning Experience were everywhere at Dreamforce. It's time to take the plunge! Bring your laptop: In this hands-on workshop, you'll go beyond the theory and learn how build Lightning Components and Applications that work in the new Lightning Experience and in the Salesforce1 mobile app! You'll learn how to code the different parts of a Lightning Component, how to use events to communicate between components, how to use the brand new Lightning Design System to provide your components with a great User Experience, and how to assemble your custom components in App Builder. You'll leave with a fully functioning app you can use to jumpstart your own development.

How to Make the Most Our of this Workshop:
Come prepared - you'll want to bring your laptop to this meetup.  Also, it will be beneficial, not required, but very helpful to get a head start by doing these two steps in advance:

1)  Spin up a new development org for a new environment to work out of.  Within the form, you'll specify a new username and then receive an email with a link to get logged in.  Keep track of these new creds!

2)  Configure your new org's "My Domain" by going to Setup --> My Domain.  More details here.
