1st Topic: Algonquin College - Maker Space & Collaborative Applied Research
A Makerspace is a collaborative area where people can come together to imagine, invent and learn from each other. Each space has its own flavor. Some are based on electronics, others on textile media, digital storytelling, woodworking or combinations of these types as well as many others.
Algonquin College aim to connect student teams with Industry partners in collaborative applied research. Depending on the program, students can build prototypes, design software, refine business practices, and solve industry problems.
