About this Meeting

1st Topic: Algonquin College - Maker Space & Collaborative Applied Research

A Makerspace is a collaborative area where people can come together to imagine, invent and learn from each other. Each space has its own flavor. Some are based on electronics, others on textile media, digital storytelling, woodworking or combinations of these types as well as many others.

Algonquin College aim to connect student teams with Industry partners in collaborative applied research. Depending on the program, students can build prototypes, design software, refine business practices, and solve industry problems.

2nd Topic: Dun & Bradstreet Optimizer for Salesforce

Keeping business data up to date is an ongoing challenge for all organizations. In fact, Salesforce estimates that 91 percent of CRM data is incomplete and 70 percent of that data decays annually. Powered by the Dun & Bradstreet Data Cloud, D&B Optimizer provides seamless access to live business identity information on over 300 million global businesses.

In this session, Dun & Bradstreet will provide an overview and live demo of D&B Optimizer. Topics to include: data synchronization processes, account data enrichment along with live business validation capabilities within a Salesforce environment.
