Welcoming you back from the summer holidays is our September Salesforce Admin Group event! As usual, we've got an afternoon of fantastic speakers and the opportunity to network with like-minded Salesforce Professionals.
This month, we'll have our first-ever keynote from Dave Thomson of Salesforce — who was so brilliant when we saw him at the Call & Contact Centre Expo, he received a standing ovation!
We've also got the lovely Emma Keeling from InterContinental Hotels coming to share their Salesforce user story. Emma is going to present her journey on Salesforce and how IHG use the platform, complete with a demo of their Salesforce Org.

Dave has worked for technology companies since 1984 – predominantly in the customer service space. Dave spent a decade at Aspect, where he was involved with call centre pioneers such as First Direct, Direct Line Insurance, British Airways and QVC. This was followed by 2 years at Primus Knowledge Solutions, where he worked on helpdesk and knowledge management solutions based on KCS – Knowledge Centred Service. Seven years at Cisco followed, where he specialized in multi-channel contact centres, knowledge management, web self-service, video-communications, home-working and accessibility.
Since joining Salesforce in January 2012, Dave has predominantly been working with financial services companies. Dave’s most recent speaking engagements have covered “Artificial Intelligence for CRM,” “Delivering Exceptional Customer Experiences with Intelligent, Connected Service” and “Building a Customer Experience Platform to Service Digitally Enabled Customers.” He has also led service design workshops recently in England, Scotland, Ukraine, South Africa, Swaziland and Zambia.
Over the years working in the Market Research industry in a very technology innovated company Christy has grown a great interest and passion for the integration of technology to visualise data. This then developed into an interest in Cloud Services and SaaS.
Christy's experience stretches across Marketing Automation, Customer Experience Management, Data Visualisation, Insights Reporting and Shopping/Consumption Behaviour Tracking. These cover a breadth of industries which includes automotive, utilities, entertainment, retail and financial services.
Understanding data is key to what Christy does and finding innovative solutions to meet business objectives is what excites her.
