Hi All,
This session we have two presenters talking about two exciting topics - Salesforce DX and Fieldsets for Lightning Components respectively.
Intro to Salesforce DX by Ben Edwards
In this talk, Ben will explain at a high level what Salesforce DX is, how it works and what you can use it for. He will use real-world scenarios and examples and demonstrate it's features.
Ben is a Technical Architect at CloudinIT, having worked in the Salesforce space for 5+ years across a range of functions and industries. Originally from NZ, Ben worked in London for 3 years on a range of Salesforce projects, before returning last year.
Fieldsets for Lightning Components by Tiaan Swart
Tiaan has recently been working quite heavily with Lightning Components for a number of Communities projects. He has built a re-usable component which he would like to share, as well as sharing his experience with developing in Lightning for the first time after spending a lot of time with VisualForce and other MVC frameworks.
Tiaan is a Senior Developer at CloudinIT. He has a wide range of experience not just in Salesforce development (VF, Apex, Lightning) but also in numerous web technologies - Ruby on Rails, PHP, front-end technologies.
Thanks to everyone for making the last meetup a success, we appreciate your feedback (whether positive or negative), and are open to anyone who has a topic they would like to do a presentation on.
And thanks to Davanti for hosting their premises again. Because of the good turnout last session, they have provided us a bigger, more open space.
Important RSVP Policy; If you RSVP “Yes” to a meetup event, and then change your mind, you must amend your RSVP to a “No”. The RSVP numbers help us determine how much food and drink to supply. So please be considerate and let us know!
