Special Guest Colleen FrancaFounder, Chief Illuminating Officer at Lightbox Coaching
Colleen has 20 years of experience helping clients become more self-aware and gain access to their own amazing strengths, intuition and power so they can gain clarity and realize the future they want. Speaker Topic: Challenging and Changing Perspectives - Women in LeadershipWhat does it mean to be a leader? Is it someone who has a high degree of integrity and is able to inspire and motivate themselves and others to achieve exceptional results? If so, these characteristics have nothing to do with the color of their skin, their religion of choice, the culture they come from, or their gender. So why is only a small percentage of women able to achieve higher level leadership positions, even though they make up 53% of the workforce? Colleen will share her thoughts, years of experience, and results from studies that set out to determine if there are differences between how men and women scored in a set of competencies required for effective leadership. We will also do some exercises to demonstrate what women can actively do to change the perception and position themselves for leadership roles.
