Save-the-Date! Join us the NYC Salesforce Developer User Group to kick off another learning event on Thursday 06/07 from 6-8:30 pm for an evening packed with industry advice from the expert Michael Smith. In this session, we’ll review how we approached rebuilding our tried-and-true Donor Statistics rollup engine in the Nonprofit Success Pack to scale up to LDV orgs. Rolling up donor statistics in the Nonprofit Success Pack is one of the most important features of the package. Rebuilding the rollups to be easily customizable, support dated exchange rates and handle organizations with many millions presented a number of architectural challenges. What lessons were learned about platform constraints, architectural design and code re-use. For this event pre-registration will be required to attend. Bio Before my first login to Salesforce.com in 2001, I was building apps in Clipper, VB.NET, Lotus Notes and other platforms as well as managing the network infrastructure for a small management consulting firm in the Princeton area. As a 7x Certified Salesforce Consultant/Developer over an eight year period of time, I was privileged to work with organizations of different types and sizes to optimize their Salesforce implementations by building custom solutions and integrations on the Salesforce platform. After joining Salesforce.org in 2017, I now focus on enhancing their open-source Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) product to further expand the reach of their products and solutions.
