Hi Developers!
It's time for another Meetup! This time we have a special and top secret treat: a new IDE for Salesforce!
As Salesforce developers, you are probably familiar with both the benefits and frustrations of Eclipse, MavensMate and/or the Developer Console. We are thrilled to give you the first look at the new cloud-based IDE.
This is a unique opportunity to get a first-hand look at the new Salesforce IDE. During this meeting we will learn about this new and soon-to-be announced IDE for Salesforce directly from the team who built it. This event will be your opportunity to work with an alpha release of IDE and give feedback directly to the company creating it.
Keep in mind, the Salesforce IDE is not yet public. This is one of those rare chances to not only get a sneak peek into the future, but to influence it as well. This means we will not be blogging, Tweeting or Facebook posting about the new IDE so that when the company announces it publicly at Dreamforce it will still be “news”.
So if you feel limited by the IDE you are currently using, want to influence the future of the Salesforce IDE, or just want to support and meet another awesome Amsterdam based tech company, then come to this meeting! You will be able to tell the developers creating this new IDE exactly what you are looking for: must haves, nice to haves, etc. They will use our feedback to make the IDE for Salesforce better and better.
The meeting is scheduled as of 3pm. I am aware this is during your working day, but since we can continue our work (using the new IDE) I didn't think the early start should be an issue. Of course everyone is also welcome to join in at a later time.
We will have a break between 6pm and 7pm in which we can have something to eat and drink, discuss our experiences and, of course, networking.
I hope to see most of you during this special meeting!
Best regards,
Martijn Schwärzer
