Salesforce Admin Group, Milwaukee, United States
Join us at the Baird Conference Center in downtown Milwaukee for a presentation of Salesforce DX by our friends at the Milwaukee Developer User Group, as well as networking with your fellow Salesforce Admins and some additional surprises.
We're trying something new! Taking a page from Salesforce Saturdays around the country and right here in Milwaukee and in Madison, we are reinventing the first part of our meetings. As always, you are welcome to mill around, introduce yourself to others and strike up conversation. But we also want you to bring your current Salesforce questions to crowd-source with the group! Bring a laptop so we can get hands-on, and take advantage of the groups' collective brain-power. Stuck on a Trailhead module? Bring that too! New requirements from your boss as you walked out the door to the meeting? Play around with some architecture choices in partnership with other User Group Members. Tired of seeing same errors in your flow? We can help you find a solution.
This is our first attempt at doing this, so we, the group leaders, would appreciate any and all questions to get the group rolling. Experienced Admins, feel free to bring a challenge to the group, so we can work together to solve a problem.
In the second half of the session, we are joined by Gabe Rholl (@gabrielrholl) and Jake Brushafer (@SForceDarkKnight), the Milwaukee Developer user Group co-leaders, as they explain how their declarative and programmatic development teams EACH use continuous integration to run clean and conflict-free deployments. They will review best practices for setting up development environments, talk through development lifecycles, and we may even get a look in to #AwesomeAdmins can take advantage of SalesforceDX in their day-to-day work.
