May 21, 2020, 7:00 – 9:00 AM (UTC)
Salesforce Women in Tech Group, Melbourne, Australia
We are thrilled to have Matt Lacey, Melbourne Developer UG Co-Leader to walk us through the ABCs of learning Salesforce programming language and an overview of a free basic programming course facilitated by Nadim Diaz Ramzi, former RAD Women Coach, as an initiative in helping those women at risk on their jobs and those who would like to jump into the world of development on Force.com.
There is no time like this when solidarity and empathy must prevail among us and support each other. With so much uncertainty, this is also a perfect opportunity to learn a new skill.
What about learning to code? (Hey! Come back! I promise it gets better!)
In our May virtual meeting, we are thrilled to have Matt Lacey, Co-Leader of Melbourne AU Developer User Group and Nadim Diaz Ramzi, former RAD Women Coach to walk us through the ABCs of learning Salesforce programming language.
Matt will kick off the meeting with key fundamental Apex concepts and Salesforce-related analogies for some programming terms to ease some of the confusion around syntax. And also briefly look at using pseudocode as a tool to help structure your thoughts and tackle programming as a separate talent.
We will also announce a free basic programming course facilitated by Nadim, as an initiative in helping those women at risk on their job because of COVID-19 and those who would like to jump into the world of development on Salesforce platform. Nadim, who is an advocate of Women in Tech movement, will provide an overview of the course in the meeting.
