Salesforce & Microsoft: Partnership for Amazing New Apps

About this event

In October of 2014 Microsoft and Salesforce announced a partnership bringing Salesforce to Office 365, Salesforce1 to the Windows 8 Phone and Power BI for Office 365.  This is an exciting partnership, and there’s a lot for developers too.

Dave Carroll and Eugene Oksman from Salesforce and Jason Short, Senior Technology Evangelist from Microsoft, will demonstrate what this partnership means for Microsoft Developers and for Salesforce Developers.  They will look at two methods at enabling the .NET developer to easily connect and consume Salesforce data.

First up will be a discussion and demonstration of the Salesforce Windows SDK, an SDK targeting modern Universal Apps. Secondly will be discussion and demonstration of the new Connected Services Extension for Visual Studio 2015.

Key Takeaways:

* Building Salesforce data-backed Windows Universal Apps

* Integration of Salesforce data using Microsoft .NET
