Oct '19 Meet - Data Migration, and Secure Data Sharing in the Cloud

About this event

Back to the usual two-talk format this month.

1) Data Migration - Martin Gardner

Migrating data into or out of Salesforce can be difficult. In this talk I present a pattern for successfully planning and executing a data migration between two Salesforce orgs while avoiding some of the pitfalls and gotchas that catch out the unwary. I will discuss the four key features of a data migration project and give a demonstration of these concepts applied to a migration between two Salesforce orgs.

2) Build a Lightning app for a Secure Data Sharing in the Cloud - Robin Smith + Rushi Joshi

Need tighter control of the data you share inside and outside of Salesforce? Gospel Technology, an ISV partner, enables Salesforce developers to manage and share sensitive data from a Salesforce-native interface, while maintaining full control over exactly who sees what data, when and why.

This session contains a live demo of Gospel’s connector offering.
