Talk 1: Migrating your Aura component app to LWC app
As a salesforce consultant, Laurent has designed and delivered many challenging projects in several business areas.
He specialised in clean and modern UI, maintainable design and optimization of team work as well as SOA architecture and complex integration.
For the last 3 years Laurent has worked with Aura and LWC components, learning about Web components and Functional programming along the way.
Having worked on converting his own Dynamic Form Engine from Aura to LWC, Laurent will tell of his experience, the differences between the 2 frameworks and talk about tips and downfalls.
Talk 2: Accounting for Technical People
The aim is to provide an overview and some key concepts that will help attendees to understand:
Core accounting principles
Accounting language used
Double entry concept
Key accounting processes

Michael Bishop is an experienced FinancialForce consultant and certified Salesforce platform builder having spent the last ten years building applications covering a wide spectrum of areas from sales support to finance, logistics and back office support systems. He is a Chartered Accountant with board level experience and a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering.
