October Dev Meetup

About this event

This month we have two talks from our members.

Mick Wheeler with an exclusive dry run (read: taking advantage of you for extra practice) of his DreamForce talk:

SchemaPuker: Data Model to Diagram in Under Five Minutes Using Heroku

If you have ever tried to get an entity relationship diagram out of Salesforce you know how painful it can be. Using SchemaPuker I will show you how to document your data model in under five minutes, and how you can utilise technologies like heroku and the Salesforce APIs to build your own tools to save time!

Mick is a Lead Developer for BrightGen, a  salesforce.com platinum partner. He is 5x salesforce certified and has been working with the salesforce platform since 2008

Siddhesh Kabe:

Top ten tips on how not to ruin Salesforce implementation

When it comes to Salesforce development, we all know what it takes to deliver stuff. Having a certified professional helps you gain a knowledgeable partner but what about the things such as common sense?  We all know how to deliver things on client requirements but what about things that are not mentioned by the client. We will be discussing in details things that will enhance the user experience, focus on tips to read your customers mind and have a bit of perspective on the user experience.

Siddhesh is a Technical Architect with Cognizant, Author of two books on Certification and better known as Sforce Ninja. He has over 9 years of consulting, delivering and advocating force.com platform and a visiting member of meetup group since 2014.

Funding Circle is our gracious host and sponsor this month.

Doors open at 6 pm. See you there.
