Happy New Year all! Hope you had a nice break over Christmas and New Year!
We are starting the new year by talking about Salesforce security, the theme for January's meetup. We have Wes Nolte (MVP, CTO @ Tquila) talking about Sharing Rules ("unsung hero of Salesforce security"), and James Melville (Consultant at Tquila) talking about OpenID Connect protocol.
See below for more details:
Salesforce Sharing - Wes Nolte
An unsung hero of Salesforce security, Sharing is a complex topic often ignored by Salesforce experts. This is bad but understandable. It is a complex topic but once understood can make life with Salesforce significantly easier, and it's a large part of the Technical Architect certification to boot! In my talk I will expose the breadth of Sharing available and deliver some time- and brain-saving tips available to you.
OpenID Connect Protocol - James Melville
This talk will introduce the basics of how to use the Open Id Connect protocol with an Authentication Provider in a Salesforce.com system, and also show how it can also be used to leverage services provided by that authentication provider
Make Positive is kindly hosting the event. The doors will open at 6:00 p.m. We hope to see you all there.
