Code review robots and Drones (aka Droneforce)

About this event

Salesforce Development is not just about APEX, Visualforce or even, dare we say it .. Lightning Components.

This month we want you to have an all-out geekfest, and there is no better user group to do that than at the London Salesforce DUG!  Our community has some real treats in store for you!  Ready to find out? Sit down and buckle up for a night of code review robot and flying drones with Salesforce (aka #DroneForce)…

And as usual, not only can you chomp down on all things nerdy ..  Our good friends at Xactly have sponsored our location at WeWork (Moorgate) and also made sure it’s not your stomachs that will rumble with a stack of food and drinks prior to kickoff, so make sure you get there in time to chow down!

Talk 1: Integrating and Controlling Drones with Salesforce

Drones have moved beyond being toys and are rapidly finding their way into our workplaces. Tasks that were previously complex, dangerous or expensive to complete by humans, can now be effectively managed via drones. As the technology matures so should how we interact and integrate these tools into the wider set of systems that we use on a daily basis. Across your organization employees leverage Salesforce daily to manage and complete a wide range of tasks, the tasks drones undertake should be no different. Our demonstration will show you some of the ways this can be achieved without ever the user ever leaving Salesforce.

Talk 2: Automated Code review with Clayton

Every line of code adds complexity and increases the risk for bugs and technical debt. In this session Lorenzo will talk about what separates good code from bad code, and show how to add automated code analysis to your development process to keep code quality under control as your application complexity grows, in a simple and powerful way.

Lorenzo Frattini [@eroispaziali] is a Salesforce Certified Technical Architect and a Heroku enthusiast. He is the creator of Clayton, a new code analysis solution for Salesforce that integrates automated code reviews in your development lifecycle quickly, at scale and with no overhead.

Doors open at 6 pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
