Hi all,

Hope you've recovered from Lightning Dev week! For those who missed it, you can find a good overview of the event here and here (Thanks Jenny and Justin). You can also find the slides on slideshare here (Thanks Keir aka bob_buzzard).

April is around the corner and we have a very interesting topic/theme - Machine Learning.

Paul Batisson (Force.com MVP and Technical Architect) will talk about how to build Machine Learning Systems with Apex.

Talk Overview:

Machine Learning is a hot topic in software development and the Salesforce Platform is often disregarded in such discussions due to its multi-tenant nature and governor limits. This talk is based off of the Dreamforce 2014  talk "Building Machine Learning Systems in Apex" and will show you how such systems can be built to utilize the platform to its maximum.

Speaker:

Paul Battisson is a Technical Architect at Mavens Consulting by day and Force.com MVP and North UK DG leader by night. In that weird ill-defined period of evening he also runs the @forcedotcomcast video series and plays around with a number of languages and frameworks. He has worked for a number of different Salesforce partners in a variety of development and management roles and is Developer and Advanced Developer Certified.

Agenda:

6:30 pm - Doors open

7:00 pm -  7:45 pm - Building Machine Learning Systems in Apex

7:45 pm - 8:30 pm - Q & A, Wrap-up, Socialisation

BrightGen is kindly hosting the event at their Salesforce Tower office and are sponsoring the beer and pizza.

Cheers,

Anup
