Hi all,
Dreamforce is around the corner and we are all excited about the benefits and opportunities that Salesforce Einstein might bring to the Enterprise. While we wait for more details on Einstein at Dreamforce, lets delve deep into the fun and diverse world of Lightning Components this month. We have Tom Waud (Certified Technical Architect) talking about Advanced Designs for Reusable Lightning Components, and Laura Kulikauskaite from the Salesforce ISV Tech Evangelist team giving us a brief tour of the exciting changes to LEX and the Lightning Platform in Winter 17.
See below for more details.
Talk 1:
Advanced Designs for Reusable Lightning Components
Create your own reusable Lightning Components using advanced design concepts, including:
• Composition using Facets
• Event Bubbling and dynamic creation of Event Handlers
• Dynamic creation of Lightning Components
• Object oriented design with Lightning Components
Get a deeper understanding of these design aspects as we walk through an example Scheduling component, with best practices on when and why you would apply them. From these examples you will be able to build powerful and functionally rich Lightning Components, taking your front-end development skills to the next level.
SpeakerBio:

He's spent the last 12 months geeking out with Lightning to determine design best practices and is looking to share these experiences with other architects and developers in order to boost knowledge within the community.
Talk 2:
In Winter '17 we are releasing a number of exciting changes to Lightning Experience and the Lightning Platform. During this talk we will provide a quick update on what these are and how customers and partners can leverage these new features in their Lightning apps.
Speaker Bio:
Laura Kulikauskaite joined Salesforce through our FutureForce programme in January 2016 as a new Associate ISV Technical Evangelist. In her EMEA role she manages the onboarding process of new ISV partners, manages the technical relationship with existing partners and delivers on a number of initiatives to the wider ISV partner community.
