We will work our way through as much of the Trailhead module on Git and Github Basics as we have time for. I'll be presenting on the subject as well as answering questions. I will have a developer from Heroku who is very knowledgeable on Github there to assist you with any issues you encounter with the Trailhead module. David Fekke has also agreed to help answer questions.

Learning how to use a Version Control System will be a building block of the new Salesforce Developer Experience. Its time to lay the foundation for getting on board.
