About this event

As promised at our Global Gathering meeting last year, we have finally been able to confirm a date and time for us all to volunteer our time in our community as our way to contribute to the Salesforce Pledge 1% Initiative!

We have selected Feeding Northeast Florida, as we feel this program is able to touch so many families in our community with such a critical need...FOOD!

Volunteers are the heartbeat of the operation at Feeding Northeast Florida!

Volunteers represent an integral part of Feeding Northeast Florida's ability to help provide food to people in need in our community.  Last year, volunteers contributed over 32,000 hours of service, which is the equivalent of 15 employees.

Feeding Northeast Florida involves hundreds of volunteers each week in various aspects of their operation.  They have individual and group opportunities for those who are 14 years of age and older.

Warehouse Food Sorting

We can help fight hunger with this warehouse food sorting volunteer opportunity.  We will help ensure high-quality, safe food is being distributed to clients by working with teams to inspect, categorize and package food items.  Depending on the day, we may be sorting donations of shelf-stable items, bagging fresh produce, or repacking frozen items.

All volunteers must be scheduled in advance.   Feeding Northeast Florida cannot accommodate walk-ins.

Closed-toe shoes are required for participation.

Feeding Northeast Florida's warehouse does not have air conditioning or heat so please plan to dress according to the weather.
