In this meetup we will have two topics presented by our group members:
1) From the architectural perspective Xi Xiao will talk about separation of concerns. His presentation will cover the following topics:
- Why architecture design is important
- What is separation of concerns (SoC)
- Simple implementation of SoC
- Remaining issues of the above implementation
- Using fflib open source to tackle these issues
- Consider when to use Soc and sum up
2) Dmitry Kandora & Ari Luokkala will introduce how to automate development and deployment with Salesforce DX and CumulusCI. They will present to the group:
- Automation. What to automate and why?
- SFDX. Getting started. Scratch orgs.
- CumulusCI. Automating development and deployment.
- Demo. Building a dev/test environment. Test automation.
