Dreamforce Global Gathering

Dreamforce Global Gathering is a chance to have a taster of what goes on at Dreamforce in San Francisco.  We aim to put on a varied and interesting evening of sessions from this year's conference.  

The Global Gatherings heavily supported by Salesforce which means that we will have really interesting presentations and swag from across the pond.

If you only come to one HUG evening this year or you are new to our user group, Dreamforce Global Gathering would be a good one to choose.

Decoding triggers for admins - Adrian Robinson

This session will help you as an admin to with developers to help them learn the language developers use so you can better collaborate with them on how your triggers should work.  Also, if you're planning on adding code to your admin toolbox, you'll walk away knowing how to get started coding your own triggers.

Secure your Salesforce Community - Sean Dukes 

Drag and drop tools help you to get a great looking customer community up and running in minutes. But, there are some important considerations around data access that you need to understand, otherwise you could find that your users can see rather more than you’d bargained for.

This will be part talk and part practical demonstration, showing you the access that users potentially have and a series of simple steps you can take to ensure that your users only see what you want them to see.

1% spotlight with Honeypot Children's Charity - Kate Browning

Honeypot provide respite breaks and on going outreach support to young carers and vulnerable children aged 5 – 12 years old. These are children who may have a parent or sibling at home who has a terminal illness, disability, mental health issue or substance abuse problem and the child is providing the care for the adult. We give these children a chance to be a child again.

What's new from Salesforce Labs - Craig Stretch

This talk will cover three main areas of Salesforce Labs.  The first topic will cover the AppExchange and Salesforce Labs program.  Then we will jump right into new solutions from Salesforce Lab Apps.  To wrap up, we will discuss resources so you can get going right away.
