You can check with the command node -v from your command line if your version is up-to-date. After the command is executed you'll see an output like v10.15.3. * You can optionally also use yarn, which you can install via these instructions (https://yarnpkg.com/en/docs/install#windows-stable). * Install git from the git-scm site (https://git-scm.com/downloads) if you don't have installed * If you don't prefer to use the provided site, feel free to use any installation instruction that you can find via Google. There are plenty of them. * Clone the LWC Recipes OSS repository (https://github.com/trailheadapps/lwc-recipes-oss) to your local computer * Run the command npm install (or yarn install, based on your previous choice) in a terminal/shell window from within the cloned directory. * Install Visual Studio Code (https://code.visualstudio.com/download) (optional, but recommended) * You can run the demos even with a simple text editor. It is nicer though to use an IDE. * We provide accessible themes for Visual Studio Code (one light, one dark) here (https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/search?term=codey&target=VSCode&category=Themes&sortBy=Relevance).
