Salesforce Admin Group, Greensboro, United States
Michael Kolodner, MVP, will be coming to the Triad area to share his Dreamforce presentation with us, and guide us through his extensive experience in keeping data clean. The Dashboard of Zeroes is one great at-a-glance way for an admin to keep tabs on what's happening with data cleanliness in the organization. This is so easy, we'll all be amazed we haven't got this up and running already!
Data cleanliness is the ongoing topic of a system administrator's life. Once the customizations are finished, the rollout and go-live have all taken place, and the staff is eagerly down to business entering leads, new contacts, and, we hope, lots and lots of opportunities, the potential for anomalies and mistakes skyrockets. The wise system administrator takes a few minutes every day or every week, just checking on the state of the data. Bad data makes for bad reports...which in turn causes the users to stop trusting their database. Enter the Dashboard of Zeroes. With one glance here, the sys admin can see exactly how things are going and who needs perhaps a bit more training.
MVP Michael Kolodner has presented on this topic at Dreamforce, and has agreed to come to Greensboro to share his insights with us, demonstrating how to set up the dashboard, and how to use it to keep the organization's data squeaky clean and reliable. Michael lives in Philadelphia. He is formerly the sys admin at Spark, Inc. and has recently hung out his shingle as a consulting partner for nonprofits.
