Salesforce Communities Case Study-Homeless Shelter Reservation System - August 03, 2018

Aug 3, 2018, 6:00 – 8:00 PM

About this event

MVP Trish Perkins just spent 6 weeks in South Africa working with a local organization that "believes in life after homelessness." She built a reservation system for the homeless shelter beds, so that those who want to come in out of the cold can reserve beds for the night. She used Salesforce and a Salesforce Customer Plus Community to accomplish this and will demonstrate the system at the meeting as a Use Case for Salesforce Customer Communities. Also at the meeting will be Sadna Dutt and M.A. Sridhar of Apsona, an app that is installed in Salesforce for a very reasonable price (quite often FREE) for ease with data import and export, as well as a very robust reporting engine. Apsona can also be used for inline editing and revealing data quality gaps. The app has been widely embraced in the nonprofit community for its versatility and user-friendliness. Sridhar will demonstrate some of the capabilities of Apsona.
