Hot on the heels of our excellent Lightning Week night, we are delighted to have booked Simon Goodyear, a Salesforce MVP based in Bristol, to fly over for our next meetup and chat to us about the Process Builder, Apex and APIs.

Simon is a hugely experienced developer and is the co-founder of Beaufort 12 an ISV partner that focuses solely on building AppExchange applications.

The Process Builder is great and has already started to alleviate some of the pressure on developers to write triggers for some of the more mundane tasks. Developers though should not completely ignore the process builder but instead, thanks to invocable actions, should see it as an opportunity. It's an opportunity to provide well defined operations to users that give them the ability to make the Process Builder do things it can't do out of the box. This is a blessing for in-house devs and a great business opportunity for ISVs.

This session will look at the invocable action, how to get started with it, some of the pitfalls and some of the hidden advantages that it gives us. To close out the session we'll have a mini hack that highlights just how quick and easy it is to make the Process Builder do exotic things.
