Eric has been in the Salesforce ecosystem since 2009. In 2010 he started the Southern Indiana Salesforce User Group, now called the Evansville Administrators Group. In 2011, he organized the very first Midwest Dreamin’, where 100 Salesforce enthusiasts descended upon Louisville for a full day of Salesforce community learning. Eric was a Salesforce MVP from 2013 to 2019, and was inducted into the Salesforce MVP Hall of Fame in 2020. He has spoken at Dreamforce in 2013, 2014, 2016 through 2019, and has organized a Dreamforce Breakfast for Newbies since 2012, raising nearly $30,000 for Project Night Night in that time. Terry Miller is a master of blending business strategy and technology using practical, common-sense approaches. For over 25 years, working in both the corporate and consulting worlds, he's tackled numerous complex assignments.
Terry's career path started as a temporary employee working in the mailroom of a financial services company. His technical skill became apparent, and he quickly rose through the ranks. His ability to explain technology in a clear, understandable way consistently won the trust and confidence of those around; from the executive board room to the technologists implementing his plans.
Some of Terry's most significant corporate accomplishments include:
--The implementation of HIPPA and other healthcare compliance and accreditation assignments.
--Leading 185 managed care professionals as an interim Vice President over fourteen months, producing significant increases in both revenue and profit margin.
--Designing and implementing a plan to consolidate five-divisional IT departments into one cohesive organization-wide department.
After many successful years of corporate leadership, Terry rebranded himself and became a wildly successful independent consultant. His Salesforce journey began, and he has not looked back.
Terry is passionate about the Salesforce family of products. He holds fifteen certifications on the Platform, making him one of the top resources in the Midwest. Terry is easily approachable and cares deeply about helping others achieve their goals. He is a Lightning Champion, a mentor, a leader of the Des Moines Trailhead User Group, blogger, and trainer.
