Laurie is a Software Quality Automation Engineer at Alteryx, which specializes in data analytics. Outside of work she likes to play Go, take pictures and work on robots and drones.
Riya Dashoriya is a Senior Software Engineer at Solutionreach, Salt Lake City. She is also a GDG Salt Lake co-organizer and WTM Ambassador. Riya has veritable curiosity and passion to dig into things and find out how they work. Her current favorites in tech are React, Accessibility and Actions on Google Assistant. Code, Coffee, Cake, Chocolates, Cricket, Coke is everything she dreams about. If not coding, she is mostly baking, sleeping or dancing.
Joanna Iturbe has worked in higher education for nearly 15 years. Currently, she is the Director of CRM Strategic Initiatives for the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. She is also Chair of the Salesforce.org Higher Education Advisory Council and a Salesforce MVP.
Before diving head first into IT, she worked in marketing, recruitment and admissions in the private sector and at Baylor University. Her work with student success software applications brought the 2016 Eduventures award to Leeds for Creative Use of Technology to Drive Student Success. She also won the inaugural Salesforce.org Community Champion award in 2019 for her demonstration of thought leadership, innovation in support of transparency and inclusive collaboration, and unparalleled dedication to community improvement.
Her certifications include Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce App Platform Builder, Salesforce Education Cloud Consultant, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Database Management, and Project Management.
When not “talking shop”, Joanna enjoys skiing, camping, hiking and traveling with her husband and two trailblazing daughters.
