Peter Coffee, VP for Strategic Research at Salesforce, has been with the company for twelve years. He works with customers and partners on emerging opportunities including connected customer engagement, new data models and methods, and business applications of AI-derived techniques. He spent the previous eighteen years writing for publications including eWEEK, Computer Language and AI Expert, and worked for ten years as an AI application analyst and desktop computing manager at The Aerospace Corporation and in project management roles for various divisions of Exxon. He has lectured on innovation strategies and AI techniques at Stanford, CalTech, UCLA, Harvard Business School, and the Sloan School of Management at MIT; he advises on curriculum in analytics and "big data" initiatives for three other U.S. universities. His two published books are How to Program Java and Peter Coffee Teaches PCs; his current work appears often on the UK tech news site "Diginomica" at diginomica.com/author/petersalesforce/
Phil Komarny is the Vice President, Innovation for Salesforce.com. Phil has held multiple leadership roles both inside of higher education as the Chief Digital Officer for The University of Texas System, as well as outside as the CEO of Robots and Pencils. He is a highly social, entrepreneurial, award winning senior executive with a 20+ year track record of delivering innovative, high value solutions by aligning existing problems with emerging technologies. For instance, Phil was the first technology leader to introduce the Apple iPad as a platform for business transformation. He is an experienced c-level executive that has leveraged entrepreneurial instincts, a broad technical skillset, and a very strong reputation for developing and motivating teams at all levels to integrate new technologies that create value for the organization. Phil is comfortable serving as the voice of the business and building a strong rapport with management, colleagues, vendors, stakeholders and technical specialists. He has won the CIO100 for his work are Seton Hill University, grew Robots and Pencils to the 34th fastest growing technology company in 2015, and is a member of Constellation’s Business Transformation 150 (BT-150), an elite list that recognizes the top global executives leading business transformation efforts in their organizations. Phil has also won multiple Apple Distinguished Program Award for the ‘iPad for Everyone’ initiative at Seton Hill University.
Heather is a Senior Developer Evangelist with technology at her very core, beginning at age 10 when she built her first computer. She loves being an advocate, a teacher, and an explorer at the forefront of Salesforce Technology. You can often find her tinkering with Robots and Artificial Intelligence. She spends her free time playing video games for charity.
