Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a provider of digital marketing automation and analytics software and services. It was founded in 2000 under the name ExactTarget. ExactTarget was renamed to Salesforce Marketing Cloud in 2014 after the acquisition by Salesforce. Marketing cloud helps monitor overall performance of the product and target the customer based on their preferences. It came up with several products to help you know your customer, personalize with intelligence, and engage across the entire journey.
