After the events of white supremacist groups, the death of Heather Heyer, the turmoil that has come about afterwards and the ongoing tensions.  I thought it was important to talk about Equality, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.  Salesforce.com as a company has made significant inroads in the corporate world by trying to champion equality and diversity, both internally and externally with partners and their customer communities.

This topic is very important for a lot of people who feel underrepresented in technology and during this session we'll have a number of social exercises as well as talk about equality, diversity and being an ally.  I hope this topic is well-attended and will be much less technical and broader interest so share with coworkers.

Please note that our usual venue, The Shebeen booked another party on our scheduled date and only had a smaller space.  For this meeting we will be moving to Escafe on Water St.  (parking at Water St. Garage, prepay lot or the metered spaces).  This is also a larger venue so we can accommodate a larger gathering.
