About this event

It's our bimonthly user group, and this time we've moved to Toto's by the river to take advantage of the lovely summer weather for a few drinks on the terrace after the presentations. We're focusing on two different, but equally important topics this way around.
1. Simplifying the user experience & improving the UI of Salesforce using Skuid
2. Keeping your Salesforce data secure

Skuid is an amazing platform that allows you to pull data from multiple sources quickly and easily, to produce beautiful & simple pages. Coupled with Salesforce, you can use Skuid to completely customise and replace the UI within Salesforce, accelerating productivity by deploying in days, not months. We'll be luckily enough to hear from Glenn Daly & Tracey Morris from JISC on how they are using Skuid within their organisation.

Additionally, Adam Pearless will be sharing tips to help Salesforce admins keep our data secure.   Adam has given talks on security at Dreamforce and at the London World Tour.

6:15 PM	Adam Pearless: A Security Guide For Rockstars	Keeping your data secure is a must for all Salesforce Admins, but it doesn't have to be boring. If you wanna get into the rock show, you've gotta remember your ID and you better make sure your name's on the list or you're not coming in! Join us as we guide you through everything you need to know to keep your Salesforce security healthy. We'll talk you through your options to help keep the bad folks out. How do you ensure that users only access the right areas without giving them access to sensitive or confidential information? We'll explain the numerous options in the setup menu that help to determine what they can see and what they can edit. Which Access All Areas user permissions pose a high risk to security? We'll explain all you need to keep rocking whilst keeping your data safe.
7:00 PM	Matt Potts: The importance of great UX for your enterprise applications, and how you can get there through design	Matt will be presenting on how thinking about UX within your enterprise applications can improve adoption & maximise results. He will demonstrate the capabilities of Skuid, especially when used within Salesforce.
