About this event

LOCATION: The Famous Navy Volunteer function room..

Enter the Famous Navy Volunteer through the pair of doors and a tiny corridor, and stay on the left of the bar... towards the back - literally opposite the main bar is a door that says "Function Room" and "Private" - there hopefully will be a Salesforce sign too on the day - go through here, immediately left and up some stairs, and you can't miss us!

Come find us as soon as you arrive for the keys to the bar, and then grab yourself a drink on us!

CONTENT:

Not down with the developer console? Haven't the RAM for the Force.com IDE.... do you like having tools that work exactly how you want them too? Sounds like you need to find out how to build your own Salesforce Tools using the Metadata and Tooling APIs from local hero Salesforce Alex Tennant.

Alex will both show and tell us how he went about building his own suite of development tools for the Force.com platform by leveraging the same Metadata and Tooling APIs that the industry giants (like Mavens) use in their software.

This promises to be a really interesting delve into the possibilities the platform offers - outside of the platform!

As usual, beer, snacks and banter all included.
