About this event

There’s a whole world of data outside your Salesforce org. How do you want to connect?

The range of services and APIs for making data connections beyond Salesforce is ever-expanding, not to mention a little bewildering. How do you know which approach to choose, and in what circumstances?

This free-to-attend session is going to equip you with the smarts you need to pick the right tool for the job every time. With a focus on Lightning Connect, OData and Heroku Connect, we will be looking at the how, what and why of each approach in turn.

Finally, we’ll have a deeper dive into the OData protocol. This REST-like API for data access makes systems integration easier, and is setting the standard for the all the other data integration tools. In this session, you will learn how to create your own OData provider, using one of  the many libraries available, and take the power of data integration back to your business.

Come along, have a beer and whether you are a Salesforce beginner or a ninja, we guarantee you’ll learn something new.
