Salesforce Women in Tech Group, Brisbane, Australia
In the current climate, we as individuals, and teams are spending more and more time on virtual meetings or online offices, the way we connect with people and what we say is more important now more than ever. With social isolation, so many of us are feeling disconnected or left out, and sometimes this can affect how we are interpreting messages being received!
In the current climate, we as individuals, and teams are spending more and more time on virtual meetings or online offices, the way we connect with people and what we say is more important now more than ever. With social isolation, so many of us are feeling disconnected or left out, and sometimes this can affect how we interpret messages being received either verbally or by digital communication such as email. Finding the right way to talk to each other and the language we use is key, and for some of us, it may be easier than for others.
Join the Brisbane Women in Technology group to discuss language in the Virtual Workplace and how we can be inclusive of everyone whilst celebrating the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT)!
This is a virtual event, and all attendees are welcome :)
