Salesforce User Group, Birmingham, United Kingdom
Come and join the Birmingham User Group on 20th September This is an excellent opportunity to network, learn, share best practice and hear from other Salesforce users. We'll have some great speakers and then take the opportunity to network. You can follow us on twitter @SalesforceBUG and Facebook "Salesforce: Birmingham User Group"
We are back after our Summer break with a great line up of speakers, and we'll be publishing more detail on their talks very soon.. so watch this space! We will also be announcing details of our end of year party on 29th November!
James Beezley
James will be here to introduce XCD HR and Payroll. He will be demonstrating how XCD removes administration tasks from the HR team and pushes these out to the workforce. He'll also provide an overview of the more advanced features. Lastly, we will see how all this looks to an end user by booking an absence and submitting an expense claim from a mobile device.
Tom Worthington
Tom will be giving an overview of how Southco uses Geopointe to allow their sales team to optimise their time on the road by ensuring that they are reaching out to the right customers at the best time.
The team have tough goals to meet and getting face-to-face time with our customers is the key to winning new opportunities.
He'll be showing some of the benefits of using Geopointe and some of the plans Soutco have to further exploit the application in the future.
Gary Mansfield
Use Salesforce to help you qualify opportunities and improve win rates.
With low b2b win rates it's clear that many deals fail to justify the level of company resources invested. In this session Garry will cover a number of key considerations when qualifying opportunities, and how Salesforce can be used to help you to focus on deals that deliver your number.
Neil Pinches
How BDO implemented a UX led approach to Salesforce with Skuid
Neil and BDO will discuss their journey to Skuid and why they extended Salesforce with a declarative UI layer.
BDO selected Salesforce Platform to build a Global Aggregated Payroll Service where all the tasks, visibility and reporting of the payrolls are run through Salesforce. During this project, the ability to have a clear, concise and user-centric UI led BDO to use Skuid as their UX layer.
