James will run a hands-on session and will show us how to really bring our Lightning screens to life with a variety of graphics. If you’d like to participate in this practical session, please make sure you have administrative access to a sandbox or a developer org and have any images you’d like to experiment with saved on your hard drive.

I am one of those people that gets a real buzz from delving into difficult business problems, and - through exploiting the capabilities of Salesforce - I come up with creative and useful solutions in a fraction of the time that my clients expect.
I have worked with organisations across a broad range of sectors, including: Financial Services, Public Sector, Pharmaceutical, Automotive and Retail and enjoy the distinctions and nuances each industry brings. Often there are comparable challenges too - albeit with seemingly different symptoms at face value - and I find a similarly structured approach works well even in very different business environments.

Gemma is a Salesforce architect, who has been working with the platform since 2008. She’s a single mum to seven-year-old Mollie and has beaten breast cancer twice, having been diagnosed at 29. Despite this, she founded Ladies Be Architects and works hard with her global team to provide support and celebration to anyone looking to further their careers to become architects themselves. This brought her several accolades, including the Golden Hoodie, being featured in her Trailblazer video, achieving MVP status and being listed in the TechWomen100 and BIMA100’s top 100 digital professionals in the UK. Gemma has sixteen Salesforce certifications and attempted (and failed) the mother of all exams, the Certified Technical Architect review board, in 2019. She doesn’t plan to let that stop her though!
