Greetings, Bay Area DUG members!

On Wednesday, February 27th, we have a special guest in town who will be giving us an introduction to Node.js!

Shoby Abdi (Twitter | LinkedIn), a Senior Technical Architect from Maven’s Consulting, will start by showing us a standard Node.js app that queries a Salesforce org. Then he plans to show three other demos involving the Twitter Streaming API, Twilio SMS reception and the Force.com Streaming API.

Also, I’ll be giving a short talk and demo of a Force.com design pattern I recently blogged about. It involves using instructive JSON in static resources to control unit test behavior, even if the tests reside in a managed package.
