Greetings!
Please join us for our next meetup on Wednesday, August 28th at 123 Mission Street! This month, Hari Krishnan will be presenting a trigger architecture that builds on the design patterns published by Dan Appleman in Advanced Apex Programming and Tony Scott.
Also, Holly Goldin has invited us all to a Meetup Afterparty Mashup! Drinks and prizes provided by Atlassian. Details below!
-----
The Apex Trigger Architecture Framework is built on the design patterns published by Dan Appleman and Tony Scott. It provides a comprehensive way to handle Apex trigger events on the force.com platform and satisfies the following four concerns:
• Order of execution
• Separation of concerns
• Control over reentrant code
• Providing a structured and organized codebase
In this session, we will explore the core pillars of this framework - the dispatchers, the event handlers, the trigger factory - and will go through a simple demo to understand how it works.
