This month we have a very interesting talk from <a>Andrew B. Davis</a>  about Software Quality and Enterprise Architecture for Salesforce.

In this session we'll discuss the topic of Software Quality for Salesforce. Quality encompasses functional quality (that processes do what the business needs them to do) but also structural quality (maintainability, reliability, security, performance, and size). Structural quality is often overlooked by business owners, but developers are all too familiar with what it's like to work on code that is difficult to maintain. End users may also suffer if performance is not taken into consideration in the design of software. And, if "technical debt" accumulates continuously through lack of quality control, enhancements become increasingly difficult and frustratingly time-consuming to make. We'll also introduce patterns of enterprise architecture for Salesforce based on the work of Andrew Fawcett, CTO of FinancialForce, as a way to improve quality in development.

Speaker Bio:

Andrew is Technical Manager, Responsible for managing a team of 10 technical consultants, as well as working as a developer and technical lead for specific projects. Particular focus on driving training and certification for Developers, Tech Leads, and Technical Architects at Appirio. 
Andrew's talk on Javascript-heavy Salesforce Applications at last year dreamforce.
