About this event

This month we have a very interesting talk from Andrew B. Davis about Behavior-Driven Development (extension to TDD) in salesforce.

Need for Behavior Driven Testing for Salesforce.com Development:

Agile projects ask the projects teams to deliver high-quality work at all times” and keep maintain a high velocity. This requires that agile projects leverage tools for Automated Testing, Test Driven Development, and Continuous Integration. The maturity of these tools in the force.com ecosystem is very low.

One important practice that can be easily expanded to salesforce.com development is “Behavior Driven Development” (BDD). Behavior Driven Development is a variation of Test Driven Development where we write tests first.

Speaker Bio:

Andrew is Technical Manager, Responsible for managing a team of 10 technical consultants, as well as working as a developer and technical lead for specific projects. Particular focus on driving training and certification for Developers, Tech Leads, and Technical Architects at Appirio.
