Starting with a quick look at an exciting new importing trick coming Winter 19, moving quickly into a review of necessary Excel skills, then right on into some of the key importing tools, Scott Luikart will get us comfortable with the tools and methods of data importing. Important to any org, Scott will take us step by step into the skill of importing data with ease into your org.
Friday, September 14 at 11:30, golden-hoodied Scott Luikart will share his skills at importing data. He'll use the Data Importing Wizard, Data Loader and Dataloader.io to demonstrate the best practices for getting data imported into our orgs. He'll start us off with some necessary skills we'll need to develope in Excel. Then using the three data importing tools, he'll help us get chill with data importing.
Handy for getting data into Salesforce (like from Quickbooks, or a list from an event), or pulling data out, making necessary changes, then putting it back--data importing can be your friend. But we all start out a little afraid. Be not afraid; the tool is supposed to be your sidekick and Scott will make friendship happen.
Starting on the dot at 11:30, Scott will first show us a new importing function coming in Winter 19 release. Be there! Bring your laptops!
