Salesforce User Group, Auckland, New Zealand
Come join us for our inaugural Auckland Not for Profit Salesforce User Group!
We are honored for our first Not-For-Profit event, Lifeline Aotearoa will be sharing with the community their digital diversification to help more New Zealanders in distress.
Lifeline Aotearoa needed to diversify their communication channels to extend their reach and better service the changing needs of New Zealanders in distress. Text and web chat counselling services were identified as the best way to do so.
Already using the Salesforce platform in a modest capacity, Lifeline developed a fully integrated inbound multi channel case management system that allowed counsellors to quickly identify needs and prioritise based on keywords. The new text service and webchat channels have attracted new people seeking support and provided services for a different demographic that may not typically reach out via phone. For Lifeline it has been a great success as they are providing support to more New Zealanders when they are in desperate need of connection.
Glenda Schnell, Executive Director of Lifeline, will introduce the project and Rumesh Piyasiri, will lead the demo.
Lunch will be provided from 12:15pm so you can meet and mingle with other community members. So please RSVP for numbers.
Parking is available near the Fish Market and surrounding areas
