Join us to learn more about Communities. Two awesome admins from Southface will share more about how they use communities to maximize their use of Salesforce.
Dennis Palko is a Project Manager of Development and Salesforce Administrator at Southface who collaborates with various program directors and teams on current processes and develops solutions for increased efficiencies and productivity.
After twelve years (1996 to 2008) as Executive Director and co-founder of Gemini Children's Theater in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dennis relocated to Atlanta to pursue a career in graphic design, sustainability and computers. In 2009, Dennis began working at Southface as Education Coordinator on the Education and Technical Assistance team managing and maintaining students enrollment and certifications and developed systems and processes for efficient record keeping. In 2011, Dennis became Project Manager of Development and was responsible for implementation of Salesforce as a primary database for Southface's EarthCraft program, donor management and membership. Dennis, along with Salesforce Database Fellow, Jacob Geerlings, has migrated most Southface programs to the Salesforce platform.
Dennis holds a BA in performing arts from Point Park University and a diploma in graphic design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Jacob Geerlings is an enthusiastic Salesforce Admin with just under a year of experience, all at Southface. As a Database Fellow, he works primarily with membership and event data, but also helps users organize data about energy savings and building projects. As a result, he constantly learns new things, works with an amazing team, and envisions better data structures. When he’s not at Southface, he does youth ministry, plays board games, and brews beer.
