For this year's first Lunch & Learn, we thought we'd have a couple of presentations regarding Salesforce Testing. Our friend Arash Afshar will be showing us how he and MapAnything use Selenium to automate UI testing. For this year's first Lunch & Learn, we thought we'd have a couple of presentations regarding SF Testing. This includes UI and backend functionality and SF Unit Tests for custom code.
Arash Afshar will be showing us how he and MapAnything use Selenium to automate UI testing. We will go over everything you need to know to get started with web UI testing, and how to get automated testing integrated into the development process.
Also, our group leader, David Todd, will be talking about some best practices for writing SF Unit Tests. As we all know, Salesforce requires a minimum of 75% coverage for all classes across any org. But what are considered to be "good" tests and maybe "not-so good" tests? Join us to review and discuss the differences and perhaps learn a few implementation ideas.
Food and drinks will also be provided!
Hope to see everyone there! ~David
