We commit to being open, listening with empathy, continuing our education, and driving gender equality forward through practical actions

The Newcastle upon Tyne Women in Tech Group is for women, allies, and gender non-binary individuals who are part of the Salesforce ecosystem in Newcastle upon Tyne and the surrounding area of the North East of England to meet, discuss and actively support ways to advance gender equality in the workplace and beyond.

The group is for women who are;

• Currently working within the Salesforce ecosystem

• Interested in or want to become part of the Salesforce ecosystem

• Would benefit from becoming part of the ecosystem in terms of training and employment opportunities

The group aims to support the advancement of gender equality in the workplace through a broad range of active and practical actions such as

• Raising awareness of the range of career opportunities available to women in the Salesforce ecosystem

• Providing opportunities for members to build their professional network

• Showcasing members skills and experience

• Providing knowledge sharing and education opportunities

• Supporting and providing access to a mentoring network

• Giving help and guidance in accessing internal recruitment opportunities to those working in a business that uses Salesforce

• Support in entering the workforce after finishing education

• Support to those re-entering the workforce after a career break (maternity, sickness, travel, caring etc)
