Durable Streaming: Replay Streaming API Events
The Streaming API is the go-to feature if you want to push an update from salesforce to another system. For a long time, when a subscribed client disconnected, events could be lost. Now with the ability to replay events (durable streaming), you need not ever lose another notification. This demo will include audience participation...possibly with global reach.
Peter Chittum is a Developer Evangelist at Salesforce. He has worked in business and enterprise applications since the 1990's and has been with Salesforce since 2010. He is an expat yank, and a French speaker, and lives nearby in Bagshot. He also has a fantastic sense of humour and he is the one who provided this text. :)
