Hello Happy Salesforce Nonprofit User Group Members!
Our next meeting will be Thursday, April 25 from 3-5pm at the Santa Fe Community Foundation.
For this meeting, we’d like to do a working session. We want to gather your Salesforce woes and come up with solutions. If you have anything you can share with us prior to the meeting, we will do our best to research the solution prior to the meeting, otherwise, we will all search together.
One example that came up: “I do a lot of manual email clean up from our mass email service (unsubscribes/bounces) without an integration and would love a way to search for many different email addresses at the same time in Salesforce to gather their Contact IDs so I can do an import to mark them correctly. Currently, if I try to do a report to gather the Contact IDs, I either have to search for 40 email addresses at a time, or use Excel to this with a VLOOKUP. Coming from Raiser’s Edge, you can search for up to 500 email addresses at a time. Is there a better and faster way?”

Note, we are now meeting quarterly. Our next meetings are scheduled for July 25, and October 24. The October may be moved to the beginning of that month. We will keep you posted as the planning progresses.
